IPC regularly researches companies in the electronic interconnect industry. One of the recent surveys related to reasons for staff participating in IPC courses and certification routes.

This research was held among companies in the Fortune 500, Global 500 and the S&P 500 electronic industries.

In total, 87 leading organisations in the electronic interconnect industry took part in the research. We would like to share the three main results, which may look familiar to you.

Firstly, 57% of the respondents indicate that a lack of knowledge or outdated knowledge is the reason for staff to participate in a course or certification.

The second reason for participation, given by 46% of the respondents, is that having an IPC certification is a requirement made by buyers of the products.

The third reason for participation, given by 40% of the respondents, is that IPC certification makes the difference between a faulty and a good printed circuit board. It is a make-or-break difference.

In short, these are three key reasons to have your employees get IPC certified. When you say yes to this, you would do well to choose the go-to educational institute for the electronic interconnect industry.
