In 1965 Jo and Liesbeth Walls, the parents of the current Managing Directors, founded PIEK International Education Centre. Jo Walls´s specialisation was electrical engineering, and he noticed early on that courses in the field of electronics were much in demand. This is what he then decided to pursue, and his wife Liesbeth supported him, doing the back office and HR.
As soon as Ben and Rob had gained sufficient experience, they became part of the Management team, and after their parents had transferred all responsibilities to them, they continued and extended the family business to its present global size and stature.
In 2020 will have existed for 55 years. We are a family-run company with quality, transparency and customer centricity in our DNA. Social responsibility is something we consider normal for our business, as is apparent from the large numbers of interns that we take every year. We feel that it is very important to get young people interested in the electronic interconnections industry, and we are happy to play our part in this.
